2025 - Brunch for Hope
We are very excited to be hosting Brunch for Hope on Friday 21 November 2025 at 9.30am at Sotto Restaurant. Join us for a relaxed morning with friends as we come together to support Hope Rising SA and raise funds for our 2026 outreach initiatives.
Tickets are available on Quicket at R250pp. Tickets includes a welcome drink, Mediterranean brunch, as well as a contribution towards our charity. We can't wait to share this special morning with you.
2025 - Plett Country Club Ladies At Home Day
​The Plett Country Club Ladies hosted their annual “At Home” day on Tuesday 14 October 2025, and we were honoured to once again be chosen as their charity for the event. We are deeply grateful for their generosity and continued partnership, which helps us raise essential funds for the year ahead. This cherished relationship allows us to focus on meaningful outreach and make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve through their ongoing kindness and support.
2024 - Raw Africa Golf Day
On Friday 18 October, the Raw Africa Collection hosted their annual golf day at the Plett Country Club. The prize giving took place at the exclusive Sky Villa Boutique Hotel. All the proceeds from the day were donated to Hope Rising SA. ​We are so grateful to all the sponsors that made the day possible. Especially the Raw Africa team that worked tirelessly to ensure that the event was a huge success.
2024 - Plett Country Club Ladies At Home Day
During the course of 2024 Hope Rising SA developed an invaluable relationship with the PCC Golf Ladies. We were selected as their ongoing charity and receive monthly donations and pads to use towards our outreach programs.
They also assisted with raising funds on our behalf at their annual golf day. We are extremely grateful to the sponsors and the Golf Ladies for their ongoing support. ​
2024 - Plett Art's Festival
On Friday 20 September, in conjunction with the opening of the Plett Arts Festival, Plett Reality graciously hosted Hope Rising SA and funds were raised through the auction of 2 beautiful paintings, by the talented William Mwale & Michelle du Toit.
This was also a wonderful opportunity to increase our footprint and tell more people about Hope Rising SA and what we do.
2024 - Plett Country Club Padel Tournament
On Saturday 13 July we hosted a Padel tournament in conjunction with the Plett Country Club. The event was a roaring success and a lot of fun was had on and off the court. Thank-you to Shaza Music, who provided live entertainment, free of charge.

2023 - The Junction Hotel
Brunch & Bubbles
On Friday 20 October 2023 we hosted a ladies' brunch at the Junction Hotel. It was a lovely morning and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the brunch buffet, along with a glass (or 2) of bubbly.
Thank-you to the Junction Hotel, who generously sponsored a Night's Stay for our lucky draw.
2023 - Barringtons Women's Day Celebration in aid of Greenhearts
On 9 August 2023 Hope Rising SA and Carrick Athena Wealth Advisory, in collaboration with Barrington's, hosted a Women's Day fundraiser. The aim of the fundraiser was to shed light on Gender Based Violence. All the funds raised were donated to a local charity - Green Hearts, in support of abused women.
Steve Jagger from ProtectionSA presented a thrilling self-dense demonstration.
2023 - Barrington's Period Cup Fundraiser Evening
On 21 June 2023 we hosted a fundraiser in conjunction with Barrington's. The event was very well attended and we were able to raise enough money to donate a period cup to each and every matric girl at Murray High School.
